Business Description
The Compound Studio, located in Granada Hills, California is a small studio run by accomplished engineer Lucas Fackler. Named for it's secluded feel and location just outside the city of Los Angeles, it has a unique creative atmosphere loaded with stringed instruments and guitar effects. The facility contains a vocal iso booth, a drum iso booth with a floated floor and a large control room outfitted with a carefully tuned mix position as well as rehearsal space to hammer out song ideas in the back.
Clients who work with The Compound Studio find themselves in experienced and creative hands. Owner Lucas Fackler has recorded many of LA's top session musicians such as, JR Robinson, Vinnie Colaiuta, Neil Stubenhaus, Abe Laboriel Sr., Michael Thompson, Jim Cox, Greg Leisz, Darryl Phinnesy and Carmen Carter just to name a few. He has also had the opportunity to work out of some of the top studios around, such as Capitol Studios, NRG Studios, and LA Sound Gallery. He has a wealth of experience with smaller studios as well, working out of, Hollywood, North Hollywood, Burbank, Studio City and Chatsworth. Having worked on numerous albums ranging from all genres and projects from ADR to 3 camera shoots. His experience makes him a valuable asset to any project.
"I've mixed and recorded everything from Jazz, Country, Rock & Roll, Heavy Metal and even Club music. I'm comfortable with most any genre of music. I'm just excited to explore the world of music with each and every project I'm involved in. I take pride in my work and enjoy working with new people and new projects, I get to be a part of something creative for a living.
I think it's amazing the time we live in, where anyone who wants to make a record can get started by themselves at home. I see my self as the next step, I can bridge the gap from your home recorded demos and help you bring them to the marketplace as a fully realized album you can be proud of.
